  Words can't express how much I want this to be good. *crosses fingers* (One gripe? What's with Wade's obsession with "boobies"? That's just... no. That's just no.) And, okay, I don't actually have high hopes for this being as amazing as I want it to be but I'm crossing my fingers anyway. A girl can hope, no?
  
  
• The next Captain America movie? Is called WINTER SOLDIER. I JUST. YES. YESYESYES. YES. YEEEEEES. FUCK YES. More Sebastian Stan is vital to my well-being at this point, okay? Don't argue, just go with it.
  
  
• And Iron Man 3 and extremis. I suspected earlier on but it's pretty much confirmed at this point and omg. This is going to be so good. SO GOOD. Also, RDJ. Because more RDJ is better than less, at this point.
  
  
• Ant Man! I... don't know? I haven't seen the clip they showed, but I heard about it and am very, um. Idk?
  
  
• Political Animals! I saw the first episode of this mini-series on Sunday night and I'm telling you guys, if you haven't seen it? GO WATCH. It was so good. Sigourney Weaver as Elaine Barrish was strong and vulnerable and perfect. She's a great female character and it made me happy to see. And I usually hate tv shows dealing with politics (West Wing was something I could never make myself sit down and watch) but this is all about the characters and the family more than anything else, though I figure there will be more political shenanigans as it goes along. But you know what? I don't even care. It was that good for me.
  
  (The first ep is available free on iTunes so, you know, you have no excuse. :P)
  
  
• I've been playing Splinter Cell: Conviction lately (my brother and I traded consoles for the week) and I'm kind of blown away. It's a shooter, of course, because that's what he likes, but it's also a sneaking game AND I LOVE SNEAKING GAMES. THEY ARE THE BEST OMG WHY DIDN'T ANYONE TELL ME THIS GAME EXISTED? Only negative is that I feel like I've walked right into the middle of the story, there's all this history that keeps coming up in flashbacks that I don't know and that's annoying (because I'm kind of a completionist and I usually have to start at the beginning of a franchise because I'm anal like that) but it reminds me a lot of MGS in all of the best ways. And hello, MGS is <333 (Speaking of, MGS4 is finally getting trophy support, which is cool because I haven't finished playing through that... oops?)
  
  Suffice it to say, I'm pretty enamored. (And I have a feeling when Blacklist comes out, I'm going to want to play that too.)
  
  
• August comics to look forward to: Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe. I mean, really. It's basically Kez bait is what it is. It's like my own personal catnip or something. Put Deadpool on it and I'm interested, tell me he's going to kill all our favorite Marvel superheroes? *dolphin noises* Yeah. I'm easy.

The ME3 Extended Cut comes out in 4 days. That is like, really soon, ack. Truthfully, I don't expect much but I'm pretty curious to see what they'be come up with to explain the clusterfuck they call an ending.

This is either going to make or break my faith in this franchise (as of right now it's not looking good).

So. We shall see.

Things wot I've been doing lately?

• Seeing The Avengers. I went today and. Just. TOO MANY FEELS, OKAY. TOO MANY OF THEM. I was all set to come and post them all but basically it would be me jizzing all over your screen and nobody wants that, trust me. I'm going to see it a few more times and maybe then I'll be able to use my words but until then? Let's try the NO SPOILERS JUST FEELS version:
  
  HULK SMASH. Hulks thoughts on gods. Tony's face. Cap's fucking everything. I just want to replay that whole minute of him punching the punching bag (it's in the trailer/the Captain America movie, totally not a spoiler) because it's bee-u-ti-ful. Beautiful. COULSON, YOU GUYS. COUL. SON. SON OF COUL. Just. You know what I mean. Loki's magnificent mane of gorgeousness. Fucking fast food. Just. What was that even, right? xD And then you know who (which, you might not actually know...) at the end just before the credits? !!! Avengers 2 is going to be so boss, I can't even. /fin
  
  And, okay, look, I saw it with my dad and even he, King of Complaints, loved it. So, you know. That's like the greatest ringing endorsement you could possibly get.
  
  This film defied all expectations. It was just so good and yeah. Idek. What are words. It's amazeballs, go see it.
  
  
• Playing a lot of Mass Effect. I'm dying these games are so good. I played ME1 waaayyy back when on XBox and just recently got 2 and 3 for PS3. I love the world, I love the characters (my fav from ME2 is totally Zaeed) and a really interesting story. I am almost done with ME3 (like, literally, I am about to go back to Earth and then see what all the fuss is about THE ENDING THAT EVERYONE IS KERFLUFFLING ABOUT) and yeah. Will probably cry when it's over. Such a fucking amazing story spanning across all three games so well. Truly top notch stuff.
  
  
• Actually using my Delicious? For fic remembrance purposes, of course. I know a lot of people have jumped the Delicious ship already but I haven't found anything I actually like better yet. Until then, Delicious.

And on the subject of comics, I got him this Uncanny X-Force hardcover trade for Christmas, by the by. Which I recommend to eeeeveryone because it is shiny and awesome. And the first of the current incarnation of the series. And there is Deadpool in it. Fantomex is the shit, too.

The State of the Kez

• So I've been catching up on Doctor Who lately (I fell woefully behind halfway through Tennant's run and seeing that it's all online via Netflix (*fistpump*) I've decided to catch up again -- if you follow me on Twitter you are already well aware of this, lol) and it's been a maaaaad crazy ride. I've only just caught up to the beginning of S5 Now, honestly? I think the show is at times pretty damn hokey. The Daleks, the Cybermen (the Ood *shudder*), and if I'm honest I have never watched Doctor Who because I thought the plot was omgamazeballs. I watch because the Doctor is an incredible character and I like seeing what crazy shit they're going to come up with next.
  
  But I really. Really, really, really. Just have to say. David Tennant's performance in the last few specials that ended his run? Blew me the fuck away. The scene with him and Donna's grandfather (I can never remember his name it's something with a W) in the coffee shop in The End of Time. (In fact, that whole Doctor/Donna's grandfather relationship was one of the sweetest most loveliest things I've ever seen, all my tears for Donna's grandfather. All my tears.) I have a lot of very specific emotions about that scene, and the way it made me feel, and the way it changed the how I saw the Doctor as a character and Doctor Who as a show. It's been a pretty defining moment in my Whovian experience.
  
  And the last 15 or so minutes of The End of Time, totally bumped Ten up to my favorite Doctor ever spot (granted there's only been him and Nine but still, Nine had The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances and motherfucking Christopher Eccleston) which I really didn't see coming. (And fuck. Now I want to go back and watch Nine's eps. Fuuuck.)
  
  
• GLITCH. OH MY GOD SO ADDICTIVE I LAY THE BLAME SQUARELY ON MYUKI_CHAN'S SHOULDERS. SRSLY. IT'S TOTALLY ALL HER FAULT. ...it's only been like two days, too. X)

• I only bought (gasp!) one comic this week. The new Deadpool, obviously (it's Wade, how could I not?) as my brother swayed me from trying out Avengers 1959 (which we then later read rave reviews for online >.>) aaand there were no DC titles I wanted to pick up this week. But next week is Batwoman and Superboy which, fuck yes, I am looking forward to. o/ (Have any of you SEEN the Batwoman art? It is. Incredibly gorgeous.)
