You know what other movie blew my socks off it was so bad it was good? Battleship. Specifically the aliens/their battlesuits because ffs. That was some sexy ass shit, it reminded me of like. All the badass armor suits from Mass Effect and Halo and pretty much every video game ever that has never quite crossed over into like films/tv/etc even though it should have because AWESOME? Yes. Awesome. And I don't think it was even meant to incite that kind of reaction so... idek what my point was but clearly there is a precedent. I have a history of enjoying shit I probably shouldn't on a purely visceral level.

In other news, saw The Dark Knight Rises yesterday and *FISTPUMP OF GODDAMN APPRECIATION* I kind of exploded of feels because ( *possible spoiler* ), and augh. My heart almost burst from them, I swear it.

And now, I just want all the ( *spoiler* ) fic BECAUSE REASONS. And it's hilarious because I've never actually wanted to ship much of anything in any of the previous movies and I don't actually ship ( *spoiler* ) and yet.

I dunno. Nolan usually makes me want to not ship anything in actuality so it hit me by surprise. I mean, I think I've mentioned this before but I've read Arthur/Eames and I enjoyed it but I didn't actually ship it. I didn't come out of Inception thinking Arthur/Eames thoughts. (My mind was too busy being mindfucked for that.) And even on repeated viewings? Nope. Nada.

But mostly, I am just kind of pissed at how ( *possible spoiler* ) And now I want to cry the crey's of a dismayed fangirl because ( *spoiler* ) would have made my fucking life and lajs;alskdjlskdj;alsdkjfs dlksjf. I am going to crawl into a cave of disappoint and not come out for days. Read: I'll be out Monday because it's Moonday but otherwise, yeah. *crys*

Though yes, all imperfections aside (and I didn't have many of those) I enjoyed the holy fuck out of TDKR and Tom Hardy, beautiful man that he is, proves yet again what a fucking delight he is to watch onscreen. It was deliciously good for me (and I do mean his acting was nomtastic, not his attractiveness, though yes, that was, as always, good for me too). A bajillion stars for TDKR.

(ASIDE: Is there a ficmeme/kinkmeme for this out there in the DW or LJ wilds somewhere? Because I do have many, many ideas, gen and slash and even het and I just. Need. As weird as it feels, I want fic for this. All the fic. Loads and loads of fic. Give it here?)

Things wot I've been doing lately?

• Seeing The Avengers. I went today and. Just. TOO MANY FEELS, OKAY. TOO MANY OF THEM. I was all set to come and post them all but basically it would be me jizzing all over your screen and nobody wants that, trust me. I'm going to see it a few more times and maybe then I'll be able to use my words but until then? Let's try the NO SPOILERS JUST FEELS version:
  
  HULK SMASH. Hulks thoughts on gods. Tony's face. Cap's fucking everything. I just want to replay that whole minute of him punching the punching bag (it's in the trailer/the Captain America movie, totally not a spoiler) because it's bee-u-ti-ful. Beautiful. COULSON, YOU GUYS. COUL. SON. SON OF COUL. Just. You know what I mean. Loki's magnificent mane of gorgeousness. Fucking fast food. Just. What was that even, right? xD And then you know who (which, you might not actually know...) at the end just before the credits? !!! Avengers 2 is going to be so boss, I can't even. /fin
  
  And, okay, look, I saw it with my dad and even he, King of Complaints, loved it. So, you know. That's like the greatest ringing endorsement you could possibly get.
  
  This film defied all expectations. It was just so good and yeah. Idek. What are words. It's amazeballs, go see it.
  
  
• Playing a lot of Mass Effect. I'm dying these games are so good. I played ME1 waaayyy back when on XBox and just recently got 2 and 3 for PS3. I love the world, I love the characters (my fav from ME2 is totally Zaeed) and a really interesting story. I am almost done with ME3 (like, literally, I am about to go back to Earth and then see what all the fuss is about THE ENDING THAT EVERYONE IS KERFLUFFLING ABOUT) and yeah. Will probably cry when it's over. Such a fucking amazing story spanning across all three games so well. Truly top notch stuff.
  
  
• Actually using my Delicious? For fic remembrance purposes, of course. I know a lot of people have jumped the Delicious ship already but I haven't found anything I actually like better yet. Until then, Delicious.
